Antalya is a town situated on the south coast of Turkey.
Because of the archaeological and natural riches of the area, Antalya is known as the Turkish Riviera. The SUN, SEA, NATURE and HISTORY combine to form a very popular resort, highlighted by some of the CLEANIST BEACHES in the Mediterranean.
The most popular beaches of Antalya are Konyaalti, Lara and Karpuzkaldiran beaches. There are also three natural waterfalls in Antalya: Duden Waterfall, Kursunlu Watefall, and Manavgat Waterfall.

Antalya is in the middle of the Pamfilya, Pisidya, Lycia, Aspendos, Side, Perge ancient cities. There are plenty of historical structurs in Antalya and its environment such as bulwark, mosque, inn, hammam. Kaleici, which is surrounded by the bulwark is the oldest inhabiting place in Antalya.
In Antalya the four seasons only appear on the calendar, as there is no real winter here. The summers are hot and rainless while the other months are warm and often rainy; it is very rare for the temperature to drop below zero. During the last 40 years the highest recorded temperature was 44.6 °C. In Antalya the average humidity rate is 64%, whereas the seat temperatures are 17.6 °C in January, 18.0 °C in April, 27.7 °C in August and 24.5 °C in September.
